Necessity and Freedom by Rudolf Steiner

Steiner gave these lectures in the middle of WWI in Berlin, and felt it necessary to speak on the topics that he did for what the world was experiencing at that time. He mentions the loss of the “I” in the majority of people, as well as many people turning to religion, soul-searching if you will during times of war. Sounds a lot like today. Most people follow crowds, have no sense of Individuality which allows them to realize they are one. Also I have seen some recent statistics that Bible sales have been the highest they’ve been in decades. We as a species are entering these very hard times again, if we are not already in them. But how did we get here? Again?

Publishing: 1988 by the Anthroposophic Press

Condition: Very Good- / handful of pages have blue underlining / does not affect legibility
